About Zoe Davis

Zoe is an Irish and UK Registered Dietitian. Zoe was born in Westport, County Mayo, Ireland. She began her journey as a Dietitian back in 2006 and graduating from the Cardiff Metropolitan University with a Bsc Honours Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2010. Zoe has worked in both the UK and Ireland during her ten-year career as a Dietitian. These experiences have provided Zoe with a broad range of Dietetic knowledge and skills.

Over the course of her career as a Dietitian Zoe has worked in a variety of Dietetic specialties, such as: Eating Disorders, Gastroenterology, Weight management, Nutritional support, Neurology, Oncology, Learning Difficulties, Home Enteral Feeding, Stroke and Critical Care.

Zoe has a special interest in Mental Health and has been working as a Dietitian within Eating Disorders and Mental Health Services for several years. Zoe has experience working within both Adult and Children and Adolescent Services.

The National Institute for Clinical Evidence (NICE) 2017, recommendations that nutritional intervention be an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of eating disorders. Zoe has the experience and skills to provide this intervention.

Zoe is very passionate about this area of Dietetics and has a true understanding of the important role which nutrition plays in the prevention and treatment of Mental illness.

Zoe currently runs a part time private practice in Co. Mayo specialising in Eating Disorders and Mental Health.

Zoe is a keen sports person and a member of the Westport Triathlon club. Zoe completed her Masters in Sports and Exercise Nutrition in October 2023 and intends to use this knowledge to support Athletes both with and without eating disorders.
